GEM Switch To Author

We have developed a browser extension for Chrome, that allows you to switch to the PROD or FAT Author of the current page with one click. This enables you to easily edit a page if you see a mistake or if you simply want to add or remove something.

The extension automatically knows wether the page is in PROD or FAT, so all you have to do is click on the button.

Installation

The extension is easy to install. Simply download the ZIP file above and extract it, so you have a folder named "GEM Switch To Author".

Go to chrome://extensions/ in your Chrome browser and make sure you check the little checkbox in the top right corner, that says Developer Mode. Then click on "Load unpacked extension"and select the folder "GEM Switch To Author".

The extension can also be used in incognito mode if the checkbox underneath the added extension is checked.

After clicking OK the extension was successfully installed and will appear as the GEM logo in the top right corner of your browser.

All you have to do now is go to a live page and click on the GEM icon.
