Introduction

The Left Navigation component is a possible alternative to the Site Map component. It takes the sub-pages of the provided root path and creates a left bound link list that can be used for navigation. Any page with a sub-page, will act as a toggle element that can be expanded to view all sub-pages. You can also choose to display the Root Page title and place different components next to it on the right side of the list.

The structure of the pages is easily visible in the Author. Only pages that are placed underneath the Root page will be used in the Left Navigation. Any other page that is on the same level as the Root page will not be part of the list. Any page in the list with a sub-page, will act as a toggle element that can be expanded to view all sub-pages.
