The Navigation Tab is part of the Header Navigation Configuration page and used to navigate your website. It can contain a Columns component, which can contain Navigation Link Blocks, Page Teaser Boxes, Content Teaser Boxes, Service Boxes, Text With Image or Unresrticted HTML components.

Introduction

Before you can add a Navigation Tab to your Header Navigation Configuration page, you need to set up the Header Navigation component.

With the Navigation Tab you can create a way for the viewer, to navigate your website. Multiple Navigation Tabs can be added to your header and each tab can be different, by adding other components inside the Navigation Tab.

The Naviagtion Tabs can be added through the Sidekick, in the Erste Group Menu, after the Header Navigation component has been set up.

tab: General

In the General tab, the title, link, wether the link should open in the same tab or a new one, the theme for the navigation tab and a Name ID can be set up.

If you want to add multiple Navigation Tabs to the Header, just drag another Navigation Tab component from the Sidekick underneath the first Navigation Tab and so on.

This way every Naviagtion Tab can be unique and have it's own content.

 

After the Navigation Tab has been set up, it can be filled with content. 

Inside a Navigation Tab component a Columns component can be placed. 

With the help of the Columns component, you can divide the Tab into different sections.

Once you have placed a Columns component inside a Navigation Tab it is time to build the actual site navigation.

The Navigation Link Block is a component that is only available for the Header Navigation Configuration page and Footer Navigation Configuration page.

 

tab: General

In the General tab, the title and link as well as items can be added to the Navigation Link Block.

 

Service Box

The Service Box is a component that is only available for the Header Navigation Configuration page.

 

tab: General

In the General tab, the headline, sub-headline, items and phone information can be added and you can decide wether you want to display this on mobile or desktop or both.
